Newsletter and refurbishing its visual identity are a couple of new steps
This first issue of the Brazilian Furniture Newsletter is one of the actions of the new market communication strategy adopted by the Brazilian Furniture Project that dates back to 1998, when the Brazilian Furniture Industry Association (Associação Brasileira das Indústrias do Mobiliário - ABIMÓVEL), in a partnership with The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil – Agência Brasileira de Promoção de Exportações e Investimentos), signed the first agreement for developing the Brazilian Program to Increase Furniture Exports (Programa Brasileiro de Incentivo às Exportações de Móveis – PROMÓVEL).
In 2005, a new agreement was signed, recognizing the need for a broader work involving everything from structuring and empowering Brazilian companies, and placing them on the international market. Thus began the Brazilian Furniture Project.
With a close eye on the demands of a very dynamic and increasingly competitive economic scene, the Brazilian Furniture Project decided to go for greater visibility in the market by, among other initiatives, refurbishing its visual identity, headed up by the GAD agency.
Promoting furniture “Made in Brazil” by associating the delivery of perceptible quality with a fair price is an integral part of the new communication strategy of the Brazilian Furniture Project, which now has the services of MLP Assessoria de Imprensa to interface with the media and to feed news to new information channels: the site in Portuguese, English and Spanish, as well as this Newsletter, which will periodically deal with the most relevant subjects that are of interest to the professionals working in the sector.
